KASCAR, LLC. [KASCAR®] warrants to the original purchaser only (warranty is non-transferable), that each engine sold by KASCAR® shall be free of defects in material and workmanship under normal use and with periodical maintenance as set forth by the original manufacturer subject to the following terms and conditions.
1. DEFINITIONS: "Engine" as used in this warranty, refers to the assembly [basic block, cylinder head and internal components] as supplied by KASCAR®.
2. TERM OF WARRANTY: 12 months / 36,000 Miles from date of shipping. It is a parts only warranty. Storage of an engine for 6 months or more before installation may void the warranty at the discretion of KASCAR®.
3. ENGINE REPLACED UNDER WARRANTY: An engine or original engine component replaced under warranty carries the remainder of the original warranty term. KASCAR®, at its option and in its sole discretion, shall repair or replace within the warranty term after determination by KASCAR® or its assignee that the engine is defective or a credit may be issued in lieu of a replacement engine or specific engine component. The Engine must be returned to KASCAR® or its assignee for inspection. Engines not returned to KASCAR® or its assignee will not be warranted. KASCAR® must authorize all repairs and / or replacements covered by this warranty. Unauthorized repairs WILL NOT BE PAID and no exceptions will be considered. All repairs must be made by a certified ASE repair facility
4. LIMITATIONS: This warranty does not apply to or include any of the following:
A. Damage as a result of OVERHEATING, LACK OF LUBRICATION, CONTAMINATION, SUBMERSSION or use of IMPROPER FUELS or LUBRICANTS.
B. Damages resulting from lack of required maintenance, or from improper maintenance
C. Damages resulting from PRE-IGNITION, DETONATION or GLOW PLUGS. This includes but is not limited to melted or broken pistons, broken piston rings, damaged cylinder heads, leaking head gaskets, etc.
D. Repair or replacement required as a result of misuse.
E. Repair or replacement of any accessory or service item, including specifically but not limited to: all components of cooling, fuel, electric and ignition systems in addition to all belts, hoses, and filters.
F. Any Engine used for competition, racing or related purposes.
G. Any Engine to which a device or accessory not conforming to original manufacturer's specifications has been installed.
H. Any engine on which periodic maintenance services required by the original manufacturer have not been performed or have been improperly performed.
I. Any Engine that has been dismantled without the inspection of KASCAR® or its assignee.
J. Any Engine for which the accurate odometer mileage or hours of operation of the engine cannot be determined.
K. Damages resulting from Acts of God, accident damage, freight or storage damages.
L. Unregistered Engines.
M. All shipping charges are the responsibility of the owner.
5. DOCUMENTATION REQUIRED: Completed warranty Registration Form on file with KASCAR®. Copy of the original KASCAR® invoice. Proof of oil changes performed every 3,000 miles. Proof of engine oil cooler and lines replaced at time of engine installation. Proof of all manufacturers regularly scheduled maintenance procedures.
6. LIMITED LIABILITY: KASCAR®'s liability under this warranty is limited solely to the cost of the parts repaired or the replacement of defective Engine. KASCAR® shall not be liable for labor costs, any incidental, special, consequential or exemplary damages, including but not limited to rental cars, towing fees or for any expressly provided for herein, relating to or arising from the Engine.
7. LIMITED WARRANTY: This warranty is given in-lieu of all others warranties, expressed or implied, including any warranty of merchant fitness for a particular purpose, on the part of KASCAR® or the entity installing the engine.

2. TERM OF WARRANTY: 12 months from date of shipping or 36,000 miles, whichever comes first.
3. ENGINE COMPONENTS REPLACED UNDER WARRANTY: Any engine component replaced under warranty carries the remainder of the original warranty term. KASCAR®, at its option and in its sole discretion, shall repair or replace the part within the warranty term after determination by KASCAR® that the part is defective or a credit may be issued in lieu of a replacement component. The part must be returned to KASCAR® for inspection. Parts not returned to KASCAR® will not be warranted.
4. LIMITATIONS: This warranty does not apply to or include any of the following:
A. Damage as a result of ENGINE OVERHEATING, CONTAMINATION, SUBMERSSION or use of IMPROPER FUELS or LUBRICANTS.
B. Damages resulting from lack of required maintenance or proper lubrication, or from, abuse, neglect or alteration.
C. Parts not used for the application for which they were not originally designed or used in a manner not approved by KASCAR®.
D. Any part damaged on an engine on which periodic maintenance services required by the original manufacturer have not been performed or have been improperly performed.
E. Any part or component that has been dismantled without the inspection of KASCAR®.
F. Damages resulting from Acts of God, accident damage, freight or storage damages.
G. All shipping charges are the responsibility of the owner.
